This style is dictated by an edited, light color pallet. Lower seat heights, minimal window treatments, and very few fussy details on furnishings or interior architecture. Antiques aren’t really used other than mid-century pieces. It’s a very cool climate to work with given that so many of the great modern design pioneers attended Cranbrook school in our backyard.
